Realspace MFTC 200 Review | The Best Office Chair for Heavy Use!
Realspace MFTC 200, the chair so nice – I bought it twice.
This is the replacement, and this is over three years old. That’S staining! You see there thanks to my then 2-year-old daughter who smeared Desitin all over the seat. So I like this chair so much I bought it the second time and the first time I bought this chair. My success rate with office chairs was that I was willing to invest in the 2-year performance protection plan, which I did not need for this chair. I’ll show you some of the features and then I’ll show you what to expect three and a half years down the road. So this chair supports up to 250 pounds, I’m to 20 to 25 somewhere around there, and it is very comfortable. I will show you some of the features that they show off here back and seat tilt with locks. That is a big deal, so most chairs will have a back tilt, but this one has a seat tilt, so you can pitch forward and that relieves the pressure from your lower thighs. If you have sciatica or any kind of nerve problem, you will find this chair. It just looks gross now because that Destin’s blood, so I’ll just show you this one if you have any kind of lower thigh or leg sciatica or any problems like that. That is why I like this chair, so much. It is very comfortable to sit in. You. Can see, that’s just me putting some pressure on with my hand, the armrests are adjustable and they are soft as well. The back has the mesh which breathes so you don’t get too hot sitting in the chair, adjustable height of the seat, and adjustable height of the arms. So you can accommodate quite a bit now over the three and a half years that I own. This manufacturer has a limited five-year warranty. Basically, if the mechanical parts fail, they will replace it, but if the fabrics or foam starts breaking down it will not replace or cover that with a five-year. So this is what happened about six months ago, so at about the three-year mark, the chair started showing some deterioration in the foam materials, and this is heavy use. If you didn’t sit in this, I sat in this every day, Monday through Friday, often Monday through Saturday, for maybe eight hours at least I work a lot. The foam started breaking down and I started feeling like it wasn’t supportive about six months ago as well. So I’ve been putting up with this for six months, but again I like it so much. I bought it a second time now, the foam they feel feels a bit more satiny smooth than this one, even in the unworn spots. So I think they’ve made an improvement here, but I would recommend this chair. I have I bought a chair from Costco to replace this and I hated it mainly because it had armrests. That would restrict the side of my thigh. So if you’re, if you’re a big person you like to man, spread, you can put your thighs, however wide you want, and not have an issue of it bumping. So I will put a link in the description where you can pick up this chair. The extended warranty you would want to go over three years if you are going to purchase the extended warranty. If you get this from Office Max or Office Depot and you buy their performance plan, this is actually a very good performance plan for cheaper chairs. They will just give you a new one that I, that with some other chairs, but I’ve been very happy with this one retails normally around one hundred and eighty dollars, occasionally you friend it on sale for as low as $ 100. So let me know what you think if there’s a chair, that you prefer better than that or if you had a different experience with the MFTC 200 from Realspace thanks for Reading.
